Why is ban rate in OSRS so much higher then RS3?

When I bot in OSRS I get almost insta bans with new accounts but back in RS3 it took months for account to get banned does OSRS have some extra layer of protection against bots or what's the deal with such a high ban rate nowadays?

Depends on what bot you use and scripts honestly and how you run them.

Jagex pays a lot more attention on OSRS since more people play it
