Growing up with the game, I kept it to myself that I played RuneScape. Back then, videogames were debatably more classified as nerd territory. Therefore, I kept it a secret and almost felt embarassed and ashamed when my biggest hobby, essentially RuneScape/videogames, got brought up in conversation.
Decades later, it's quite the contrary -- rather-now a talking point with the social circle I do interact with! I have almost now become an advocate for it; yet mostly failing to have it grab my circle's attention
